We have an immediate opening for a Senior Storage Engineer at T2 Tech Group. The Senior Storage Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, configuration, management and troubleshooting of storage systems for T2 Tech clients. This will include working with storage area networks (SANs), network attached storage (NAS), direct attached storage (DAS) devices and various backup systems. Cabling Technician

Job Description

T2 Tech Group is looking for reliable, hardworking Cable Technicians. The Cable Technicians will be responsible for removal of old cables and installation of new CAT 5 and CAT 6 cables. Cable Technicians will work on teams that will service multiple sites monthly and thus will travel to new locations regularly. This opportunity is slated to last a minimum of 3 months but could be extended into a permanent position. The project is scheduled to begin around mid-March 2017. Cable Technicians must have 1-3+ years of experience having performed punch downs, terminations and full installations of network cables.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Pulling, installing and terminating cables on various projects for commercial and non-profit businesses, including hotels and healthcare.
  • Building and installing racks for voice and data patch panels.
  • Candidates will be pulling, terminating and testing data cables to ceilings, walls or floors.
  • Candidates will be climbing/working on ladders routinely throughout the day.
  • Duties can vary based upon client criteria.

This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC and VDI hardware, software, and related equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. The Desktop Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via email) in a timely and accurate fashion, and they will provide end-user assistance as required.

  • Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future desktop hardware needs.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience managing complex software and infrastructure implementations in healthcare or mission-critical environments supporting 3000+ users.  Ideally this candidate would have experience in the implementation of a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure with integrated Single Sign On and secure follow me printing. Successful candidates will have the ability to develop flexible and efficient plans, manage multiple priorities while fostering an environment of team building and coordination. In addition, a strong candidate would be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders as well as clinical and IT support staff.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in integrating and migrating large scale mission critical network implementations/migrations in a 24/7 environment.

Requirements:

This professional will have the following responsibilities: Identify, assess and solve complex business problems for our Healthcare clients. Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals. Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within T2 Tech Group on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach. Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility. Manages large – medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within T2 Tech’s clients.

The Cerner PM will be responsible for delivering large-scale, complex programs that combine processes with technology to help our clients achieve high performance. They will aid teams in the analysis, design, build, test and deployment of innovative Healthcare industry-specific solutions that enable industry standards and processes.  Depending on the client engagement, the Cerner PM will be responsible for collaborating with the T2 Tech team and clients to:

  • Plan and staff Cerner project work
  • Be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day project work
  • Oversee and monitor execution of Cerner project work
  • Management responsibilities, including status reporting, issues management
  • Be responsible client executive (C-suite level) and sponsor relationships related to Cerner project work
  • Be responsible for T2 Tech-Vendor relationships related to project work
  • Understand and shape Client business needs into Cerner solutions
  • Collaborate with T2 Tech Group and Client teams
  • Serve as T2 Tech Group role model responsible for the development of team members staffed on project Create dynamic work environment

  • Transition Cerner project work to client, including knowledge transfer as appropriate

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in a healthcare provider environment as a Project Manager
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Cerner
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with complex integrated delivery network operations (i.e. Both hospital and ambulatory)
  • Experience in Cerner’s core clinical
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Meaningful Use Stage 2
  • Experience managing at least 1 implementation cutover and/or Go Live support
  • Ability to meet travel requirements- average 50% travel
