Robert founded T2 Tech Group™ in 2006. Since founding the company, he has led multimillion dollar IT infrastructure projects on behalf of organizations such as Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Saint John’s Health Center, University of Kentucky Healthcare, QueensCare Family Clinics, Comanche County Memorial Hospital and Mesa Water District.
At Children’s Hospital Los Angles, Robert presided over the design, planning and implementation of IT infrastructure for the 460,000 square foot, 280-bed, Marion and John E. Anderson Pavilion new hospital project. He was also in charge of planning and remediating the mission-critical IS infrastructure to support Saint John’s Health Center’s initiative to design a 250,000 square foot, state-of-the-art health center campus. Robert continues to manage similarly sized projects for healthcare organizations across the country.
Prior to founding T2 Tech Group, Robert worked for the UCLA Health System for nearly two decades. As Chief Technology Officer, he directed a 175-person IT department. This department supported enterprise IT operations and new IT systems and services for a complex, $1 billion healthcare system that included the UCLA School of Medicine, the 1,000 physician UCLA Medical Group and the three hospital UCLA Health System.
During his work with the UCLA Health System, Robert was recognized for delivering superior IS senior leadership for two new hospitals projects: the $1 billion Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and the $570 million UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica. Furthermore, he partnered with colleagues, technology vendors and other business stakeholders to develop and implement next generation IS architectures and services that provided a platform for the organization to remain a globally-renowned leader in medical research and healthcare delivery.
Robert is a member of the Information Technology Steering Committee for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Los Angeles. He previously served on the Executive Advisory Committee at AwarePoint and was recruited as an IS steering committee member for the Venice Family Clinic. His academic achievements include a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego.
