Childeren’s Hospital Los Angeles
We helped CHLA architect, design and manage the enterprise integrated services implementation for a $636 million, 460,000 square-foot patient facility that was being built. For this task, T2 Tech provided vendor negotiation, operations management, enterprise IS integration, and design and implementation. Our efforts helped CHLA open the new hospital on schedule, reduce the number of fulltime employees needed, save $1.5 million in capital costs, and save $500,000 in O&M costs. | View CHLA and T2 Tech Story | Download PDF
Kootenai Health is an on-going client of T2 Tech. In the past, we helped Kootenai manage their storage systems, and these efforts saved the healthcare provider nearly $1 million. Currently, we are helping Kootenai manage their network and data center environment and other IT infrastructure projects. Specific services we have provided for Kootenai include the following: vendor negotiation, improving performance, providing infrastructure that will scale with future needs, and improving back up technology. | View Kootenai and T2 Tech Story | Download PDF

Comanche County Memorial Hospital
Comanche County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) operates a 283-bed regional referral center that uses an integrated delivery system. When the company was expecting to expand its healthcare facilities and provider network, we were hired to assess, architect and implement the IS infrastructure. By partnering with us, CCMH saved $1.35 million on EMC storage and Brocade network solutions. We also negotiated additional staff training, implementation support and maintenance services at no additional cost. | View Comanche Memorial and T2 Tech Story | Download PDF

Sharp HealthCare is working with us to relocate its data center and optimize its IT infrastructure. We focused on limiting hardware and software dependencies and developed an approach that will produce an ideal architecture. With the new architecture, their computing workload will be distributed and handled more economically using fewer hardware resources. We also project managed their DR migration, where the team tested more than 60 applications for failover and redundancy without impacting the production site or causing business interruptions. Stanford Health Care
We assessed IT services and technology infrastructure across Stanford Health Care’s (SHC) recently acquired ValleyCare system. In the IT assessment, we provided SHC with a clear picture of ValleyCare’s current-state IT environment; a highlight of current risks with relevant short-term fixes; and a long-term strategy to mitigate risks, implement SHC’s standards and integrate the ValleyCare IT environment into the larger SHC IT environment in preparation for its Epic implementation. | View Stanford Health Care and T2 Tech Story | Download PDF
We are supporting Rapid City Regional Hospital (RCRH) in the rollout of VDI (VMware Horizon 6) and single sign-on (Imprivata SSO) to 28 departments. We are also assessing options for a new tap & print system and will perform the required build out and full deployment for the tap & print. The total project includes approximately 1,200 endpoints, including 100 workstations on wheels, and 250 printers, and it will support 1,900 clinical users. The project will improve staff productivity, reduce security risk, centralize utilization and enhance performance.
We are helping Hoag Hospital replace its existing physical PC workstations with more secure and versatile VDI endpoints that will all be hosted from a central data center. We are also helping them implement a business continuity and disaster recovery strategy during their migration from Allscripts to Epic Connect. The strategy we developed will allow them to maintain access to Allscripts. Once Allscripts is phased out, the hardware used for the Allscripts disaster recovery strategy will be repurposed to save Hoag Hospital’s resources.
