Mark Lazatin is an IT professional with over 11 years of industry experience. He is adept at implementing efficient and cost-effective operations for high-growth organizations. He achieves these results through deployment of next-generation architecture and protocols. As well, Mark has played a key role in managing internal IT projects in support of T2 Tech Group’s consulting operations, including a transition to Microsoft Office 365 and migration of telecom service to Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), as well as implementing antivirus, disaster recovery, Microsoft SharePoint and Active Directory.
Over his career, Mark has consistently delivered business and financial solutions to sophisticated corporate environments. He has thus demonstrated expertise in IT project management, Web development and systems administration.
While with T2 Tech, Mark was a key player in a comprehensive IT assessment for a metropolitan water district. After identifying high-priority remediations, he upgraded the IT operating system and multiple applications for each department’s workstations. Doing so involved installing centralized disk imaging software and application deployment. Mark built a virtual server and configured the deployment of the operating systems and applications to create efficient, standardized deployment processes. In addition, he updated the client’s disaster recovery system, incorporating both onsite and cloud backups.
Prior to his engagement with the water district, Mark worked with a healthcare system in South Dakota to help deploy a virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) to multiple departments. He assisted the internal team in replacing thin-client hardware and managing Active Directory. He followed through by providing expert after-support to users.
Previously, Mark worked for CCG Investor Relations for six years as an IT director. In this role, he monitored systems administration, data traffic, security and telecommunications infrastructure for worldwide offices (Los Angeles, New York, Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Hong Kong). He managed CCG’s IT staff and vendors in the United States and offshore to meet evolving business and operational requirements. Mark also redesigned and launched the company’s websites in the United States and China. In this effort, he introduced social media, analytics and search engine optimization (SEO) to boost search/keyword rankings.
Mark graduated from Mapúa Institute of Technology in Manila, Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
